Jorge Mario Velásquez Jaramillo was born in Bogotá in 1960. He graduated as a Civil Engineer at Escuela de Ingeniería de Antioquia and later made a specialization with emphasis on the cement industry in England. Additionally he participated in the CEO's Management Program at Kellogg School of Management and in the Supply Chain Strategies Program at Stanford University. He also graduated from the High Government Program of the School of Government at the Universidad de los Andes.

As of April 1, 2016, he serves as Chief Executive Officer of Grupo Argos S.A, holding company of the Argos Business Group which has presence in 17 countries and strategic investments in the cement industry, energy, and concessions business. Before becoming CEO of Grupo Argos, Mr. Velásquez served as CEO of Cementos Argos S.A. since 2012, a leader company in the cement business in Colombia with presence in more than 14 countries and currently the second most important player in the cement business in the southeast region of the United States.

In the past, Mr. Velasquez held various positions in Cementos Argos, including: Logistics Vice President, General Manager of Cementos del Nare, CEO of Cementos Paz del Rio and Vice President for the Caribbean Region with responsibility for operations in Panamá, Haiti, Dominican Republic, Suriname and island territories and Argos’ international trade.

He is currently member of the board of directors of Grupo Sura, Cementos Argos, CELSIA, COMPAS, the Colombian Chamber of Infrastructure, the Colombian National Business Association, the Dividendo por Colombia Foundation and the Superior Council of the Universidad EIA

Astrid Álvarez Hernandez

Civil engineering undergraduate from Universidad Javeriana with a specialization diploma in environmental engineering from Universidad de los Andes and master’s degree from the University of Ohio. Consultant with ample experience in strategic advisory to national and international corporations, in recent years she has dedicated time to work in offshore projects in the hydrocarbons and supply chain sectors while continuing her permanent support to social endeavors in Fundación Servicio Juvenil led by Padre Javier de Nicoló.

Ms. Álvarez worked for six years in Empresa de Acueducto de Bogotá during the administrations of Enrique Peñalosa and Antanas Mockus. As manager, she was in charge of its transformation and of integrating management and commercialization processes aimed at achieving corporate efficiency. In Ecopetrol she was in charge of implementing the supply chain strategic model as of which the Company managed to achieve significant savings and efficiencies in contract management.

Felipe Bayon Pardo (52) has served as the Chief Executive Officer of Ecopetrol since September 2017. Prior to being appointed Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Bayón served as Chief Operating Officer of Ecopetrol from February 2016 to September 2017. Mr. Bayon holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Universidad de Los Andes (Bogotá). He has over 26 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. For more than 20 years, he worked at BP plc, most recently as Senior Vice-President of BP America and Head of Global Deepwater Response.

From 2005 to 2010, he was the Regional President of BP Southern Cone (South America), and prior to 2005 he worked in BP’s headquarters as Chief of Staff to the Upstream CEO and Head of the Executive Office for Exploration and Production. He began his career in 1995 in BP Colombia, as a Project Engineer, where he held various positions until becoming Vice-President of Operations in Colombia. Prior to this, he worked for Shell.

Carlos Mario Giraldo Moreno has been Grupo Exito's Chief Executive Officer since March 2013 when was promoted after 5 years as Chief Operating Officer. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Giraldo was the Chief Executive Officer at Industrias Alimenticias Noel and Compañía de Galletas Noel for nearly 10 years. Mr. Giraldo holds a degree in Law from University of Medellin and a Master degree in Law from Tulane University. He also undertook an executive program in Strategic Planning and Management in Retailing at Babson College, in Management at Kellogg School of Management of Northwestern University and in Marketing at Stanford University.

Mr. Giraldo has over 24 years of professional experience in mass consumption, including 13 years at Nutresa (Noel and Zenú). Mr Giraldo was Chairman of the Board of Directors of ANDI (National Business Association of Colombia) between 2003 and 2004. Nowadays, Mr Giraldo is member of the following Board of Directors: ISA S.A., Solla S.A. and Copa Airlines Colombia.

Holding a degree in Industrial Engineering from the Universidad de Los Andes and an MBA majoring in Actuarial studies from Michigan University, Mr. Bojanini has held various posts within the private sector, including that of the CEO of the Pension and Severance Fund PROTECCIÓN S.A., for a period of 15 years as of when it was first founded. Before this, he served as Actuarial Manager for the Suramericana insurance companies.

Since October 2006, he has served as CEO of the Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana S.A. -GRUPO SURA, overseeing the Company's sound portfolio of investments mainly in the insurance and financial service sectors. He is a member of the Boards of Directors of Grupo Nutresa, Grupo Argos, Grupo Bancolombia, Suramericana and SURA Asset Management.
